Apple is now likely to release the third-generation SE device next year.
The current Apple iPhone SE was introduced by the company in April of last year. It is powered by the A13 Bionic processor, which was initially seen in the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. The iPhone comes with a 12MP wide-angle camera. The current one is also water and dust-resistant.
iPhone SE 3rd gen specifications
Processor
The SE 3 is most likely to be powered by an Apple-owned A15 CPU which is currently in the iPhone 13 plus 3GB of RAM, with a new variant that will come with 4GB RAM. It is also likely to get 5G connectivity. The current SE comes in 64GB and 128GB storage capacities. Since Apple just changed the iPhone 13 line to begin at 128GB, perhaps the iPhone SE 3 will follow suit.
Display
It has a 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD display and a Home button with an inbuilt fingerprint sensor, implying that it does not have a Face ID. This may be the last iPhone to come with a home button and LCD panel. Even though a fingerprint sensor is present there are chances that apple much adds Face ID too.
Camera
The iPhone SE 3 is expected to launch with a 12MP back lens and an 8MP front lens for photos and videos. The camera even tho it’s 12MP is said to be an advanced new improved version. Apple will also likely include and cinematic mode and night mode.
The iPhone SE was originally launched for developing nations and for android users wanting to switch to iOS at a lower cost. It is likely to come in March same as the first SE which was launched in March 2016 and the 2nd gen in April 2020.
Pricing
As this is a low mid-level phone from apple the pricing is likely to be around $399 or 30,000-35,000 Indian Rupees. A competitive price will help apple capture market share which is currently dominated by Samsung, one plus, and Xiaomi.
