BenQ PD2705U 27-inch Monitor Specifications and Features
The BenQ PD2705U stands in between the 25-inch PD2500Q and 32-inch PD322-U monitors by BenQ. The PD2705U is a 27-inch screen that has a 10-bit colour depth, 99% sRGB colour gamut, and 1.07 billion colours. It has a 4K UHD resolution and the bezels of the monitor are quite sleek.
The display comes with multiple certifications starting with the Pantone certification. It is also calibrated by IDEAlliance G7 colour certification experts in the US. The display is tested to have uniform brightness and colour temperature. It is also touted to offer strong contrast between light and dark. A total of 27 areas of the screen were individually calibrated in the factory to ensure that the screen offers better visibility.
Interestingly, the screen supports M-Book mode which will be helpful for MacBook users as it will make sure that the true colours of the MacBook are restored on the screen. In the case of dual-screen setup, this mode will ensure that there’s proper synchronization. The screen is also calibrated to avoid colour distortion by reducing chromatic aberration.
Moreover, the monitor has 65W fast charging support via the Type-C port. It can be connected to Apple’s MacBooks, laptops, and even iPads. There’s On Screen Display(OSD) controller support which will help users to easily adjust the brightness and other controls with an eternal knob.
