Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S22 series on February 8 at its Unpacked event. Coming to the S22 series, the upcoming flagship series from Samsung will comprise of three phones – the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. The series is expected to come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC for some markets and Exynos 2200 chipset for the others. Although past rumors revealed that Samsung will skip the Exynos chip but still, new leaks have mentioned the Exynos processor.
Apart from this, the smartphone series will bring a bright AMOLED screen with a QHD+ resolution on S22 Ultra and FHD+ resolution on the S22+ and S22. The S22 Ultra will also have impressive cameras like a 108MP Super Clear lens with OIS support. It will have two 10MP lenses for telephoto and Zoom shots. And, lastly a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
The camera details for the other S22+ models are under wraps as of now. The vanilla S22 is touted to come with a triple camera setup at the back with a similar design to that of the predecessor, S21.
