Believe it or not, the Indian phone maker, Lava has been launching a few devices since the start of this year. The company unveiled several Z series phones in the region targeting the budget segment. Just like that, Lava yesterday unveiled the Lava Z2 Max silently in the Indian market. One of the major highlights of the smartphone is its mammoth 7-inch display.
The Lava Z2 Max succeeds the Lava Z2 that launched earlier this year in the Indian market . The device has two unique color shades – Storked Cyan and Stroked Blue. Just as the names, the phones have a stroked design at the back and also has a Lava branding.
In terms of the price, the Z2 Max comes in a single variant with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage priced at ₹7,799(~$105). The device will be sold in both online and offline markets in the country. Interestingly, the buyers will get 1-year free screen replacement warranty from the company.
Lava Z2 Max Smartphone Specifications
Design and Display
The Lava Z2 Max comes in polycarbonate plastic back sporting a massive 7-inch dew-drop notch display. Although the company hasn’t confirmed whether it is an LCD screen or TFT panel, it is clear that the resolution is limited to HD+. The aspect ratio of the display is 19:9 and the overall screen-to-body ratio is also quite good.
Since it’s a gigantic screen, Lava has provided a one-handed mode that will let users make the screen go towards the extreme right or left depending on the mode selected.
Cameras on the Lava Z2 Max
As for the cameras, the Lava Z2 Max features a dual-rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a single 8-megapixel camera at the front.
