Krafton in December made the decision to make PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds free-to-play. Yesterday it finally has announced that PUBG Battleground is now free-to-play on all PCs, PlayStations, and Xbox.
PUBG PC had to be a free-to-play game since several Battle Royal titles, such as Call of Duty Warzone, Apex Legends, and Valorant, to mention a few, had already grabbed a big share of this growing Battle Royal industry.
Along with it, they’ve created a one-time, non-recurring Battlegrounds Plus premium account upgrade. The premium version includes more G-Coin, a 100% increase in Survival Mastery XP, exclusive in-game goodies, and custom match capabilities with access to the Ranked game mode.
Since its release in 2017, the game was priced at INR 1000 on steam and has been a popular battle royal game amongst gamers. Finally, now it is accessible for free on Steam. The game is also playable on the PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox Series S, the Xbox Series X, and the Xbox One.
Battlegrounds Plus will be available for a price of 12 dollars, While all new players will start with a basic account that offers normal gameplay, then if they wish they can upgrade to Battlegrounds Plus with it they can gain access to several features.

According to Krafton, gamers who had previously purchased PUBG: Battlegrounds will get a PUBG – Special Commemorative bundle, which will immediately upgrade them to Battlegrounds Plus and offer them a Battle-Hardened costume skin set, Shanks Legacy Pan and many more items.

Update 15.2, which includes a new Tactical Gear for scouting remote sites with drones. The update also enhances communication with Screen Ping Markers and in-game smoothness with a new Action Queue feature that allows gamers to queue up tasks such as reloading after shooting a weapon.
