Although Google has already announced the Pixel 6 smartphone, it is still gearing to make it available later this year. Now, a new piece of information reveals that the company is working on a tablet i.e. inspired by the Pixel 6. It will be reportedly be called the Google Pixel tablet and it may run on Android 12.

According to LetsGoDigital, Google patented a futuristic tablet design back in March 2019. However, it wasn’t released to the public. This year in June, the design was approved and released by the Japan Patent Office which revealed the schematics of the tablet. The tablet features a full-screen design and has rounded corners.

In addition to this, Snoreyn, a graphic designer created 3D renders of the tablet. The renders are inspired by the Google Pixel 6. It has an edge-to-edge screen with a punch-hole cut out for the front camera. Moving to the back, it has a huge Google branding. The renders also showcase the buttons and ports present on the sides.

Apparently, it has a USB Type-C port at the bottom and a speaker setup present at the top as well as at the bottom. The tablet’s software skin seems to be inspired by the Pixel 6’s renders. That said, the tablet may run on Android 12 or it may just have Google’s Chrome OS.

For starters, Google shipped the Pixel Slate with Chrome OS. But, the other huge-sized devices like the Pixel C ran on Android 12. As of now, these are just creative renders of the tablet. There might be a long time until we see the design getting materialized.
