Contra Returns was first released in China and Taiwan in 2017 and 2018. Also, the English version of the game was released in Southeast Asian countries. Game Details
Konami says they have brought an authentic new take on the series. The game is much more enhanced with high graphics, new gameplay, and much more. Unlike the original version of the game, players will be able to customize the guns in Contra Returns. Also, they are introducing new storylines to make the game much more interesting. Apart from that, new characters, skill unlocks, and others will be there.
The game will have more than 200 levels, some new modes including 3v3, 1v1, and more. Although there are plenty of new and modern things in the game, the thrill of the game is the same as before. Many gamers are still confused if the game will have an old-school feeling. According to Konami, the game will have the old feeling with any new things and improvements.

Available in India?
Many Indian gamers are not sure if they will get the all-new Contra game in India. Recently Indian Government has banned a lot of apps that are related to China including PUBG mobile. The popular game was banned because of its tie-up with Tencent. Contra Returns is also partnered with Tencent, which makes it banned in India.
The game might not launch in India as of now. However, just like PUBG made a tie-up with Krafton to create a new version of the game for India. Now, if Konami follows the same path, then Indian gamers might get Contra Returns Indian version.
