Realme has finally taken wraps off the much-awaited premium phone, the Realme X7 Max 5G in the Indian market. The smartphone is none other than the Realme GT Neo rebadged model for India that comes at an affordable price.
Realme X7 Max 5G Highlights and Pricing, Availability
Some of its major highlights are the 120Hz display, Dimensity 1200 SoC, and 5G connectivity. It is said to be the first phone in India with the aforementioned chipset as well as one of the first phones to offer proper 5G connectivity. It has more 5G bands than some of the other flagship phones in the Indian market. As we move towards looking at its specs sheet, we’ll discuss its 5G bands.
As for pricing, the Realme X7 Max 5G is priced starting at ₹26,999(~$372) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Its higher-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹29,999(~$413).
The smartphone will go on sale starting from 4th June on the Flipkart shopping portal. It will be available in three color variants – Mercury Silver, Milky Way, Asteroid Black.

Realme X7 Max 5G Specifications
Display and Design
Realme X7 Max 5G comes with a plastic built with a reworked design. It boasts a simple rear design mixed with a glossy strip holding the huge Realme branding. It has a 6.43-inch punch-hole display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It is a Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a high 360Hz touch sampling rate.
The screen has 1000 nits of peak brightness and 409 PPI pixel density. It has a modern 20:9 aspect ratio with an 85% screen-to-body ratio. It is tossed with Dragontrail Glass protection.
Cameras on the Realme X7 Max 5G
The smartphone boasts a vertical triple camera system comprising of a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The device has gyro-based Electronic Image Stabilization and also has HDR support.
It can shoot up to 4K videos at 60fps and 1080p videos at 480fps. The rear camera is assisted by a dual-LED flash for brighter images at night. It has a 16-megapixel front camera for selfie shots. The front sensor can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The 5G handset packs a 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast charging support. Realme has advertised the phone to juice up from 0% to 50% in just 16 minutes. It has support for 2.5W reverse wireless charging.
As said earlier, it is termed to be a full-fledged 5G smartphone that offers future-proofing. This is mainly due to its 5G bands. It has a total of 7 5G bands – N1, N28, N40, N41, N77, N78, N79. This is way more than what a few flagship 5G phones offer. For instance, the OnePlus 9 series has 2 5G bands.
The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and boots on Android 11 out of the box. It has Realme UI 2.0 on top of it.
